What wheel size does a 12R24.5 tire fit?

A 12R24.5 fits a wheel of 24.5 inches in diameter. The wheel also has to be within the rim width range the manufacturer publishes for this size, which is printed in the tire's spec sheet.

What do the numbers in 12R24.5 mean?

12 is the section width in inches, R marks the construction (radial), and 24.5 is the wheel diameter in inches. This size states no aspect ratio, so its overall height is not derivable from the code — check the manufacturer's spec sheet for the fitted height.
